LOVE Stories

CD, an elderly widowed veteran, needed much work done to his property. We were contacted by the city inspector of Bonita Springs to help him out. Through connections with the local business community and churches, we were able to arrange for mold to be removed from the exterior of his home. We are still working on putting together a team to help clean up his yard. Not all our requests are for financial assistance. Our wide network allows us to serve needs like this.

S and her seven children were forced to relocate due to domestic violence, and were living in a hotel. That's when she reached out to Love INC, and we were able to mobilize many churches, agencies, and donors to get her family into an apartment, to furnish that apartment, to provide food, and to adopt them for Christmas. S has been encouraged on many occasions of her worth in God's eyes, and is grateful for the community of support around her.

LH reached out to Love INC last month. She's elderly, passed retirement age, and recently found herself with an expensive health situation. In order to afford her treatments, she was forced to choose them over rent, and found herself homeless and living in a car. Through the assistance and connections at Love INc Southwest Florida, she is now off the streets and out of her car, living in her own room at a women's house, with four other women. We praise God for stories like these that are only possible with the generosity of the community.

Neighbor in Need requests met in 2024

The needs in our community are overwhelming. Have you found yourself wanting to help, but not knowing how? Or not wanting to make a bad situation worse by enabling a cycle of need? That’s where we come in. We have trained compassionate staff and volunteers who listen to the needs of our neighbors and offer them hope, encouragement, and opportunities for change.

Uniting our community to provide HOPE and HELP to those who need it

Below are the types of programs and assistance available through Love INC of Southwest Florida.

Financial Assistance

There are a variety of reasons why people get behind. That's why we offer financial assistance along the way*, to those who are willing to participate in a journey toward their own recovery and success.

*Certain criteria apply. Not everyone is eligible for financial assistance.

Material Assistance

Whether it be food, clothing, furniture, or various other needs, we can connect you to churches, agencies, organizations, and people that can help you find what you're looking for.

Network
Classes

Several of our network churches and organizations offer classes and programs each semester. Things like ESL, computer skills, Bible studies, relational seminars. We'd be happy to enroll you in any of these ever changing offerings, based on the issues you're facing in your life.
